The TMLA Nominating Committee (Clayton Crenshaw, Bruce Hall, Felicia Piscitelli) presents the following nominees for the position of Vice Chair/Chair-Elect. This is for a one-year term, after which the Vice Chair will serve one year as Chair and one year as Past Chair. The election will be held on October 19, at the business meeting that will conclude the Fall Meeting at Rice University.

Rahni Kennedy

Rahni is the Music and Media Catalog/Metadata Librarian and End Processing Manager at Southern Methodist University.  He also currently serves as the Continuing Education Coordinator for the Music OCLC Users Group, a member of the Encoding Standards Subcommittee of the MLA Cataloging and Metadata Committee, and recently as Professional Training Co-chair of the SMU Black Faculty and Staff Association.  He has previously served on Program Committees for TMLA and the Music OCLC Users Group, and on MLA’s Dana Epstein Award Committee.  He holds a Doctor in Musical Arts degree in Clarinet Performance from Texas Tech University and an MSLS from the University of North Texas.

Sara Outhier

Sara is the Music Librarian for Digital & Audio Services at UNT, where she participates in audio collection development and managing digital projects. Sara serves as the MLA Placement Officer, a member of the MLA Diversity Committee, and an ex-officio member of the Career & Development Services Committee.
