Parking at UNT

For visiting attendees to the UNT campus, we will provide a UNT day-use permit. If you indicated that you needed a parking permit on your registration form, a permit will be emailed to you. Our parking attendants will also distribute permits each morning of the event. With the day-use parking pass, you will be able to park on any level of the Union Circle Garage (coordinates: 33.2109198, -97.1473714). If you need assistance traveling from the parking garage to the Willis Library or have any questions about parking, please contact Meghan.Sprabary@unt.edu.

Getting to Willis Library from the Union Circle Parking Garage can be done in three ways:

  1. Going around the north side of the University Union, which has no stairs to worry about,
  2. Going around the south side of the University Union, which has stairs along the path, and
  3. Going through the University Union, which has both stairs and elevators.

Going through the University Union is not recommended as it can be a bit of a maze, but if you would like an air-conditioned route, option 3 will be best.

If you need any help getting to Willis Library, there will be directional attendants stationed at the Union Circle Parking Garage and in the Library Mall, which is between the University Union and Willis Library. A quick drop-off point for anyone getting to Willis Library is at the Library Mall off of Highland Street, which is marked by a large crosswalk and waterfall fountain on the left side of the street. If walking from the Union Circle Parking Garage to Willis Library (or vice-versa) is an issue, please contact Meghan.Sprabary@unt.edu.
