Based on our chapter’s nomination, Maristella Feustle, Music Special Collections Librarian at the University of North Texas, has been selected as one of two winners of the MLA Best of Chapters award this year. She will give her presentation, “We Handle Water Music: the Crazy Water Radio Broadcast Transcription Discs at UNT,” as part of the MLA Annual Meeting in Norfolk next year.

Founded in 1931, it has an international membership of librarians, musicians, scholars, educators, and members of the book and music trades.
